Simple to re-calibrate if necessary No batteries to go dead Simple jumper change for scale range Jumper change for decimal points Low drift high accuracy Optional backboard has screw terminals and provides configurations listed below For back board order M705
To measure current, the VM-1 basic meter is ordered with the current input back board as # M700. Not included is the appropriate current shunt. Refer to the price list for shunts. The back board has screw terminals and a power supply that isolates the VM-1 from the power supply.
To measure AC Volts, the VM-1 basic meter is ordered with the AC rms converter back board as #M710. The jumpers on the VM-1 set the range and decimal points. The back board has screw terminals and a power supply that isolates the VM-1 from the power supply.
To measure AC Amps, the VM-1 basic meter is ordered with the AC rms converter back board as # M720. The jumpers on the VM-1 set the range and decimal points. The back board has screw terminals but does not need the isolator power supply since the current transformer used for sensing isolates the VM-1 unless the current shunt is used.*
To measure AC hertz or frequency, order the VM-1 basic meter with the AC hertz converter back board. The back board has screw terminals and a power supply that isolates the VM-1 from the power supply.
No batteries to go dead VM-1 backboard has built-in power supply for remote pyro amplifier Low drift high accuracy Remote thermocouple amplifier Built-in ice point junction
