Text Box: CONNECTING TO YOUR SYSTEM IS SELF EXPLANATORY.  SINCE THERE ARE NO OUTPUT LEVEL CONTROLS YOU MUST USE THE GAIN CONTROLS ON YOUR AMPLIFIER(S.) MOST AMPLIFIERS CONFORM TO EIA (Electronic Industries Association) STANDARDS. THE STANDARD RMS "LINE" LEVEL VOLTAGE IS 1/2 VOLT. HOME POWER AMPS THAT REQUIRE MORE THAN 1/2 VOLTS ARE NON STANDARD AND IF THE LEVEL EXCEEDS 2 VOLTS, THEN A LINE DRIVER IS REQUIRED. THE SEMOD WILL OPERATE UP TO 2 VOLTS RMS MAX. THE INPUT LEVEL CONTROL ALLOWS A RANGE FROM 100 MV TO 2 VOLTS RMS. THE OUTPUT LEVELS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THE INPUT LEVELS AND CAN BE LOADED TO 5K OHMS. WHEN USING THE SEMOD X-OVER FULL RANGE, "Y" ADAPTERS MAY BE USED WITH ALL LEFT OUTPUTS TIED TOGETHER AND ALL RIGHT OUTPUTS TIED TOGETHER IF YOU ARE DRIVING A VERY LOW IMPEDANCE AMPLIFIER. HOWEVER, IT IS MUCH SIMPLER TO USE THE MIDRANGE OUTPUTS FOR FULL RANGE WITH THE DIP SWITCHES SET AS SHOWN IN THE CHART. SET THE DIP SWITCHES TO DESIRED X-OVER POINTS. MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT OVER-LAP ANY FREQUENCIES EXCEPT FULL RANGE.
Text Box: IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO USE RCA EXTENSION CABLES IN ORDER TO LOCATE THE SEMOD CLOSE TO YOUR LISTENING AREA FOR EASE OF SETUP. AFTER SETUP, THE EXTENSION CABLES MAY BE REMOVED AND THE SEMOD MOUNTED NEAR YOUR POWER AMPLIFIERS. THE SEMOD NEEDS NO MAGNETIC SHIELDING SINCE THERE ARE NO TRANSFORMERS OR INDUCTORS. THE BASE PLATE MUST BE GROUNDED TO YOUR AMPLIFIER WITH A SMALL WIRE TO PREVENT HUM AND NOISE PICKUP. FOR HOME USE, THE PRE-AMP OR HEAD UNIT MUST BE GROUNDED TO THE POWER AMP(S.) THE POWER CONNECTOR IS CONNECTED AS FOLLOWS:

		RED-             + 12 VOLTS DC @ 250MA
		YELLOW-    TRIGGER ( MAY BE CONNECTED TO RED FOR HOME USE)
		BLACK-        GROUND
MAKE SURE TRIGGER VOLTAGE IS 12VOLTS, IF NOT YOUR HEAD UNIT HAS INADEQUATE CURRENT. YOU MUST USE A RELAY !

1. SET INPUT GAIN POTS TO 1/2 ROTATION.
2. PLACE SET-UP TEMPLATE OVER PCB USING PINK NOISE SWITCH AS GUIDE.
3. SET ALL SLIDERS TO -24 DB / ALL THE WAY DOWN.
4. TURN "ON" THE PINK NOISE GENERATOR.
5. SET THE PINK NOISE LEVEL TO 1/2 WAY. THIS CAN BE RE SET AS NEEDED.
6. SLIDE EACH SLIDER ONE AT A TIME ALL THE WAY UP AND THEN BACK  
    DOWN. DURING THIS TEST ONLY ONE SLIDER AT A TIME SHOULD BE UP.
7. IT SHOULD BE EASY TO FIND A FREQUENCY THAT IS QUIETER THAN THE
    OTHERS. IF THIS SLIDER IS ON THE RIGHT CHANNEL, THIS IS THE LEVEL 
    REFERENCE. 
  MAKE SURE VOLTAGE IS AT 12VDC OR MORE
