THIS WIRING DIAGRAM SHOWS HOW TO WIRE A BANK OF RELAYS TO SWITCH OVER FROM THE DRAG QUEEN TO A STANDARD AMPLIFIER.

WIRE THE MAIN POWER TERMINALS (+12 VOLT AND INPUT GROUND) TO A 30 AMP POWER SOURCE SUCH AS YOUR VEHICLE BATTERY THROUGH EITHER THE IGNITION SWITCH OR A SINGLE RELAY SUCH AS THE POTTER AND BRUMFIELD UNIT. THIS INPUT TERMINAL ALWAYS DRAWS CURRENT SO BE SURE IT IS NOT ACTIVE WHEN THE ENGINE IS NOT RUNNING OR YOUR BATTERY WILL DRAIN. THE RED KEYED EMERGENCY SWITCH SHOULD BE OFF EXCEPT WHEN COMPETING. THE SYSTEM WILL STILL CHARGE WITH THE KEY OFF (FULL COUNTER CLOCKWISE). THIS SWITCH IS A BATTERY DISCONNECT IN CASE OF EMERGENCY. FOR LONG PERIODS OF NON-USE, REMOVE THE COVER AND REMOVE ONE OF THE BATTERY LINKS.
THE TRIGGER WIRE SHOULD BE CONNECTED LIKE ANY OTHER AMPLIFIER BUT THIS IS TO BE WIRED TO YOUR CONTROL CONSOLE AND IS FOR "AUDIO TRIGGERING."
AT 1/4 OHM LOAD THE INTERNAL BATTERIES DRAIN FASTER THAN WITH A 1/2 OHM LOAD SO TRY NOT TO WASTE TIME BY BURPING BETWEEN RUNS. IT ONLY TAKES A FEW MINUTES TO BRING THE CHARGE BACK UP AFTER A SHORT BURP HOWEVER.
